Today has been a good one...

so far.

I got to spend time with BF this morning because I didn't have to go to work until 10 am. Of course, the down side of that is that I have to go to a dinner for our 55 and older customers to serve drinks and hand out door prizes. It's sort of like a volunteer thing, but more like you don't have a choice. The thing is, almost everyone else from my office came up with some excuse as to why they can't do it this year. To make it even better, I get to perform these duties while wearing a shirt that's at least 4 sizes too big for me so I'm certainly going to feel pretty.

An explanation is in order!

Here I am, introducing myself to all the ljfriends I can find and I have no entries! This is my brand new journal, I had one that basically became an art journal and I wanted a place to put real life rants and updates. Here it is. Unfortunately, I have about zero time to add anything of substance, so I will put that ~~at the top of my list~~ near the top of my list following my daily NaNoWriMo quota.

Tomorrow's To Do:
1. Write 1,667 words or more
2. Put up a real journal entry!
